ReGENErate: A Nutrigenomic Assessment for Revealing the Foundations of Enduring Metabolic Health
Delivering a personalized, genetics-based diet and care plan with GLP-1 Response Testing
ReGENErate is a unique, comprehensive test that incorporates genetic variation in metabolic function, micro- and macronutrient response, circadian rhythm, neurotransmitter metabolism, food intolerance, and taste preference to facilitate the of design personalized care plans that patients are more likely to adhere to.
Why Providers Choose ReGENErate
ReGENErate stands apart from other nutrigenomic panels with several key advantages:
Metabolic Dysfunction Risk
Assessment of physiological and cellular mechanism of metabolic dysfunction to support the foundations of health
Dietary Requirements and Preferences
Identifies variation in nutrient needs, food intolerance risk, and flavor preferences because nutrition plans should be healthful and enjoyable.demands
Dual Reporting
Includes a patient-friendly summary and detailed, provider-focused results in one report
Optional Questionnaire
Canvases patients’ eating habits and preferences to allow for a more holistic assessment, but is not required.
Chrononutrition Insights
Uniquely evaluates genetic variation in circadian rhythm and its impact on and meal timing and metabolic outcomes
Socioeconomic and Psychological Influences
Considers socioeconomic and psychological drivers of eating behavior
How ReGENErate Can Inform
Metabolic Health Plans
ReGENErate helps providers design effective and sustainable metabolic health plans by combining genetics with diet, lifestyle, and behavioral factors.
With ReGENErate, providers can:
- Identify predispositions for obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and accelerated aging.
- Evaluate physiological and cellular mechanisms of metabolic dysfunction such as mitochondrial health, thyroid function, detoxification, inflammation, and oxidative stress.
- Predict dietary responses to low-fat, low-carb, and fasting protocols.
- Understand the role of circadian rhythm in energy balance and meal timing.
What the Panel Measures
Metabolic Risk
Obesity, type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, and accelerated aging.
Physiological Mechanisms of Dysfunction
Thyroid, muscle mass, mitochondria, oxidative stress, detoxification, and inflammation
Lifestyle Factors
Circadian disruption sensitivity, exercise response, GLP-1 response, antipsychotic medication-related weight gain
Psychological Contributors
Satiety, emotional eating, stress response, and sleep
Food Intolerances
Gluten/casein, lactose, histamine, caffeine, alcohol
Taste Preferences
Sweet, salty, bitter, richness/fat
Nutrient Metabolism
Vitamins (D, B-complex, A, E, C), minerals (Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Se, iron overload), choline, CoQ10, and essential fatty acids
Diet Type Responses
Low-fat, low-carb, and fasting responses
How It Works
Order Kit
First, kits are ordered via the exclusive online portal and drop shipped directly to providers or the patient’s home
DNA Collection
Next, a DNA sample is collected via a 1-minute buccal cheek swab, the optional questionnaire is filled out, and both are easily sent back directly to the Fagron Genomics US lab
Send Sample
Then Fagron Genomics US will process each patient’s sample, and typically within just 5 – 7 business days, will upload each report to the provider’s online portal account
Results
Finally, the provider goes over the report with each patient and recommends lifestyle and diet changes
What Clients Receive
- Patient Summary Report: Simplified overview to support understanding.
- Provider Report: Detailed analysis of genetics, metabolic risks, and diet guidance.
- Actionable Guidance: Integrates genetics, chrononutrition, and preferences into nutrition plans.
